A French-language transcription of the radio exchanges between the Apollo 11 crew (Armstrong, Aldrin and Collins) and Houston mission control, from the Cape Kennedy countdown (16 July 1969) to the crew's entry into quarantine at the Lunar Receiving Laboratory. Introduced by Albert Ducrocq, the dialogue is translated and annotated by Michel Plazanet, with interleaved technical commentary, footnotes decoding NASA jargon and a closing glossary of acronyms. Published less than two months after splashdown, the volume covers the launch, the translunar coast, Eagle's landing, the moonwalk on the Sea of Tranquility and the return to Earth.
