The book covers their parallel biographies, pre-flight preparation at the Baikonur cosmodrome, the twenty-four-hour flight including scientific observations in weightlessness, a technical assessment of the Voskhod spacecraft (orbital parameters, propulsion, mass), and perspectives on interplanetary exploration.
