vers une coopération internationale
Published in 1962 in the Marabout Flash series (n°119), this work analyses the conditions for a credible European space programme in the face of American and Soviet dominance. Drawing on a detailed assessment of US expenditure (NASA, ARPA, USAF), Wim Dannau proposes a proportional sizing method for a European effort and describes feasible projects: telecommunications satellites, navigation satellites, a launch vehicle, and an anti-satellite system. The book advocates for European industrial and scientific cooperation, anticipating the entry into force of ESRO (1964).
