Michel Bousquet is a French academic specializing in space communications systems. Holding a master's degree in science and a degree from the École nationale supérieure de l'aéronautique et de l'espace (ENSAE/SUPAERO), he taught and carried out research at SUPAERO (now ISAE-SUPAERO) in Toulouse, where he trained successive generations of engineers in satellite communications, while also serving as an associate professor at Télécom Paris. With Gérard Maral, he is co-author of the standard textbook Satellite Communications Systems, an internationally distributed work reissued in many editions by Wiley.
