American journalist and author specializing in aerospace. Editorial consultant at the Aerospace Industries Association from 1957 to 1994, and editor of the Aerospace Year Book for over a decade. A prolific contributor to the NSTA's Vistas of Science series, his titles include Spacecraft (1961), Man's Conquest of Space, and Apollo: Lunar Landing. Through numerous popular works, he helped bring aerospace culture to the American public during the Space Race era.
