Hilaire Cuny (1912, Remoncourt – 2003, Orsay) was a French writer and science popularizer. His prolific output spanned physics (Albert Einstein and Relativity, Heisenberg and Quantum Mechanics), biology (Pasteur and the Secret of Life, Ivan Pavlov), and the history of science (Alexis Carrel). He also devoted several titles to astronautics, including L'Aventure cosmique (1971) and Sedov Léonide et l'astronautique. A contributor to Les Lettres françaises, he wrote for the encyclopedic series "Où en est ?" published by Éditions du Zénith. He received the Prix Fabien from the Académie française in 1971.
