Robin Kerrod is a British science writer and a Fellow of the Royal Astronomical Society, specialising in popular astronomy and space technology. Extraordinarily prolific (the author of more than two hundred titles for young readers and general audiences alike), he has ranged across the whole of science and technology, from astronomy to robotics. A former winner of the COPUS Junior Science Book Prize and a major contributor to the DK Science Encyclopedia, he became one of Britain's most productive science popularisers of the late twentieth century. His lavishly illustrated space books chart the milestones of the space adventure from the 1980s to the 2000s.
