Aline Chabreuil is a French science writer specialising in spaceflight and Earth observation. Long active in science outreach (she served as vice-president of the Planète Sciences association), she co-wrote, with Marc Chabreuil, Exploration de la Terre par les satellites (Hachette, 1979), one of the first French popular books devoted to remote sensing. She went on to direct or co-author several works connected with the French space agency CNES, including De l'espace pour la terre (with Jacques Arnould) and Satellites (2021). Her work treats the satellite image as a tool for understanding terrestrial and environmental issues.
